Rael Levitt, CEO of Auction Alliance won his court case on constitutional grounds when Western Cape High Court Judge Rob Stelzner ordered that summonses served to Levitt and two employees by the National Consumer Commission (NCC) to be invalid.
Rael Levitt, founder and CEO of Auction Alliance in 2011 has built a strong reputation over a number of years handing commercial as well as residential properties. In his summation, Judge Stelzner noted that the NCC did not have the right to investigate any criminal charges nor issue a summons for questioning on an issue that had already been concluded.
Judge Stelzner ruled that all court costs be born by the NCC and Mamodupi Mohlala. Stelzner noted that the NCC has no legal jurisdiction and that the media statement and subsequent compliance notice were unconstitutional and biased against the legal rights of Mr. Levitt.
